I do not need the drop since I have made clear to Telus that I will not be signing up for an enhanced service till they make good on previous promises about rate adjustments to compensate for previous problems. They installed the drop without checking for damage they might have done to existing service, ie disrupted the line. Crew has gone, no internet.
The office tells me no luck until the next day.
But I need to print out an airline ticket for the next day so I am forced to drive around the city until I see a Telus truck. The on the ground guys are actually ready to quit for the day but
they follow me home and save the day.
Good people, over-ambitious systems. Best to promise less, deliver more, not the opposite.
